What is Long COVID?

Most people fully recover form COVID-19. About 10% of people will have symptoms linger weeks to months after the "normal" timeline for recovery. These people have been called "long-haulers" of COVID and led to the shortened version of "long COVID." The virus has been known to affect the lungs, heart, brain, and more.

How Can we Help?

AchillesPT is experienced with using spirometers to establish baseline pulmonary function.

Clients will be given a series of functional and spirometer testing to establish their current baseline at initial evaluation.

A full exercise program will be developed to increase respiratory and functional tolerance.

The patient will be reassessed using the same functional and spirometer testing bi-weekly to chart progress.
